Upcoming films include The Virgin of Highland Park co-written and directed by award winning filmmaker Sonia Sebastian, with an ensemble cast including: Dermot Mulroney, Penelope Ann Miller, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Jessica Treska and Ethan Herisse; and the short film Virgin on the Rocks.
Previous credit includes actor, co-writer, and producer of the feature comedy Freelancers Anonymous (2018) which had its International and US Premieres at Inside OUT Toronto (TIFF Bell Lightbox Theatre) and Frameline42 (Castro Theatre). The film was selected as one of 22 films for the ReFrame Project - earning the ReFrame Stamp, which serves as a mark of distinction for projects that have demonstrated success in gender-balanced film and TV productions. She developed the half-hour comedy The Freelancers based on the characters in the film as well as an adult animated digital series. The Freelancers pilot was selected for the 2nd round for the Sundance Episodic Story Lab in 2019 as was her previous pilot Stale Mate in 2016.
On stage, she performed her one-woman comedy, Break In at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Credits include the Sketch show Girl on Gurl (UCB, Second City Hollywood, iO West), and the comedy Web Series Easy Abby (Abby/co-producer - S1) with 50 Million views online now available on Revry TV. Lisa is a graduate of East Carolina University with a BFA in Acting with a concentration in Meisner technique, and a graduate of The Second City Chicago Improv and Music Improv Conservatories. She is represented by TheMachine (Manager) and REIGN Agency (Commercial).
